Ranveer Singh’s Action Thriller Dhurandhar Set to Roar into Theatres on December 5, 2025

Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh is gearing up to deliver another high-octane performance in his upcoming action thriller Dhurandhar, slated for release on December 5, 2025. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles.

The movie promises to blend intense action with gripping storytelling, a signature of Dhar’s filmmaking style. The first schedule of Dhurandhar began in July 2024 in Bangkok, followed by a second schedule in November 2024 near Amritsar and the Golden Temple.

In February 2025, the crew shifted to Filmistan Studios, Mumbai, before moving to Madh Island where the major portions were wrapped by April 2025. Additional action sequences were shot at Mankoli Bridge in May 2025, while a high-energy dance number was filmed in July 2025 at the Golden Tobacco Factory, Vile Parle.

Interestingly, several scenes set in Pakistan were re-created in Thailand, showcasing the production team’s commitment to authenticity. The crew later traveled to Ladakh in August 2025, though filming was temporarily halted due to a food poisoning incident that affected several team members.

Ranveer Singh completed his shoot by October 2025, marking the end of an extensive filming journey. With its global locations, star-studded cast, and the creative vision of Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2025.
