11 Bahraini Enterprises Showcase Products to Global Audience at Bahrain Pavilion in Gulfood Dubai

Dubai – The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) inaugurated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion at Gulfood Dubai, with the participation of 11 Bahraini enterprises, as part of efforts to support national companies and enhance their global presence.

Gulfood is one of the world’s largest annual exhibitions specialising in the food and beverage sector. Its 31st edition is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, across two main venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. The exhibition hosts more than 6,500 exhibitors from over 130 countries and features more than one million products from across the global food and beverage industry.

Tamkeen’s sponsorship of the Bahrain pavilion at this major international event aims to provide Bahraini enterprises with opportunities to expand their operations and access new markets. Participating companies are able to showcase their products to a global audience, explore the latest industry trends, expand professional networks, conclude business deals, and exchange knowledge and expertise with leading industry stakeholders.

The enterprises participating in the Bahrain pavilion include Al Salwa Meat Factory, Deniz Food Packing Factory, Al Ameer Spices, Al Muharraq Pickles and Spices Factory, the Food Supply Company, Fermendiet Food, Early Riser Food, Quba Factory for Producing Pollen Water and Traditional Medicines, Alkamel Factory, Amalfi Foods, and Awal Dairy Company.

Tamkeen’s support for Bahraini enterprises’ participation in Gulfood Dubai aligns with its commitment to supporting national businesses across various economic sectors and enhancing their competitiveness at the regional and global levels.

The Fund’s focus on the food and beverage sector reflects its significant role in the national economy and the promising growth opportunities it offers. Through such initiatives, Tamkeen aims to enable Bahraini enterprises to establish strategic partnerships, expand their operations, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the development of the sector locally, thereby strengthening its contribution to the Kingdom’s economy.

Gulfood is held annually in Dubai as a global platform for institutions and experts in the food and beverage sector, offering opportunities to build partnerships, conclude deals, launch new products, and announce industry developments. The 2026 edition is expected to witness broader participation, with exhibition space extending over one million square feet. The event also features a range of accompanying activities, including competitions, training programmes, and panel discussions with chefs, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry influencers.

Tamkeen’s support for Bahrain’s pavilion at Gulfood 2026 aligns with its strategic priorities, which focus on achieving the highest economic impact, supporting Bahrainis, stimulating private sector growth, and enhancing institutional efficiency through innovative approaches and strong governance.
