Ajit Pawar’s Son Jay to Tie the Knot in Bahrain During Four-Day Private Celebration

Jay Pawar, the younger son of Maharashtra deputy chief minister and NCP president Ajit Pawar, is set to marry his fiancée, Rutuja Patil, in a private ceremony in Bahrain on Friday. The intimate, four-day celebration begins on Thursday and will be held entirely at The Ritz Carlton in Manama, the capital city of Bahrain.

According to party insiders, the festivities will open with the mehendi ceremony on Thursday, followed by the baraat and wedding rituals on Friday, December 5. On Saturday, guests are expected to spend the afternoon participating in beach games, before gathering for a sangeet celebration in the evening. The wedding festivities will conclude with a grand reception on Sunday, December 7.

Rutuja Patil, a Bachelor of Design graduate from Los Angeles, previously worked at Adfactors PR before joining her father Pravin Patil’s firm, ElevateEdge Consulting Group. Patil also runs a social media company that was actively involved in the election campaigns of Ajit Pawar and his wife, Sunetra. Jay and Rutuja have reportedly known each other for nearly a decade.

NCP sources revealed that the wedding is strictly private, with only two party leaders national working president Praful Patel and Maharashtra state chief Sunil Tatkare being invited. The guest list has been capped at around 400 people.

This marks the second major celebration within the Pawar family in just a week. On November 30, Yugendra Pawar son of Ajit Pawar’s elder brother Shrinivas Pawar got married in Mumbai. Ajit Pawar could not attend the event due to his commitments to the ongoing local body election campaign. Yugendra had previously contested the Assembly elections from Baramati but was defeated by Ajit Pawar.

It remains uncertain whether NCP (SP) president and Ajit’s uncle, Sharad Pawar, will attend Jay’s wedding in Bahrain. Sharad Pawar was present at Yugendra’s Mumbai wedding last week.
