Primark Confirms Major Middle East Expansion With New Stores Across the GCC

Primark is continuing its Middle East rollout, with the affordable fashion retailer confirming new store openings across the GCC, including Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain, by the end of 2026.

The brand made its regional debut in Kuwait in October 2025, marking its first step into the Gulf market. Building on that momentum, the UAE has been confirmed as the next major destination, with three stores set to open this year.

Primark’s first Dubai store will open at Dubai Mall on Thursday, March 26, followed closely by City Centre Mirdif in April and Mall of the Emirates in May. The trio of openings signals a strong entry into the UAE retail scene, bringing Primark’s budget-friendly fashion, accessories and homeware to some of the country’s busiest malls.

Beyond the UAE, Primark has also confirmed further regional expansion. A Bahrain store is scheduled to open at City Centre Bahrain later this year, while Qatar will welcome its first Primark location at Doha Festival City. While an exact opening date for the Qatar store has yet to be announced, it is expected to launch before the end of 2026.

The Middle East expansion forms part of Primark’s wider international growth strategy. The retailer is also preparing to open its first flagship store in Manhattan, New York, later this spring, marking a major milestone in its global journey.

With its continued rollout across the GCC and beyond, Primark is on track to operate in 21 countries by the end of 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing high-street fashion brands worldwide.
