Over 60,000 volunteers join Bahrain national support campaign
More than 60,000 volunteers have registered through the National Volunteering Platform to participate in the national campaign titled “Bahrain is Well Because You Are Its People.” The initiative was launched to support national response efforts following the recent attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Authorities confirmed that a number of volunteers have already begun field work at various locations across the country, while others will be deployed gradually in phases depending on operational needs and their specific skills or areas of expertise.
The campaign mobilizes community members to assist government agencies and humanitarian teams in multiple areas. Volunteer roles include supporting shelter centers, helping coordinate services for displaced residents, assisting in affected neighborhoods, and contributing to reconstruction efforts.
One of the key areas of focus is the rebuilding and recovery work in Sitra, where volunteers are helping authorities restore affected infrastructure and support local communities. In addition, volunteers are providing assistance to elderly citizens and vulnerable groups, ensuring they receive necessary support, care, and essential supplies during the recovery period.
Officials say the overwhelming response highlights the strong spirit of solidarity among Bahrain’s citizens and residents, demonstrating how the community has come together to support the Kingdom during a challenging time.
The campaign continues to welcome volunteers through the National Volunteering Platform, with organizers coordinating assignments based on national priorities and community needs.
