Anis Sajan started of his career as a door-to-door salesman in Mumbai with Eureka Forbes. His real journey started in the gull, during the Gulf war when saddam Hussain invaded Kuwait and it was a blessing in disguise that he landed in a place like Dubai. He arrived in Dubai on November 12, 1992, when he was 21 years old. He wanted to do something he was familiar with and wanted to venture into the sanitary division, which marks the beginning of his time at Danube Group.
His first product was the ‘Shattaf’ known as jet spray in India and Muslim shower, later came up with ‘Travel shattaf’
Anis Sajan and Rizwan Sajan are brothers. Rizwan sajan who’s the Founder and Chairman of Danube group, helped his brother with his career. Anis in an interview said Dubai did not make me feel like I was abroad but felt like he’s in a "refined" Mumbai. His involvement in Danube’s commitment to affordable housing, its contributions to Dubai’s real estate market, and his belief in the city’s potential as a global hub opened up many opportunities and growth. With all the years of working and his dedication, he is now known as the Vice Chairman of Danube’s group.
Beyond business and family, Anis shares his passion for cricket, earning him the title of "Mr. Cricket UAE."
He has been passionate about cricket from the young age, when India won the World Cup in 1983 and when he was in dubai he had his own company team where 30 employees played cricket and won many trophies.
Born and raised in Mumbai, being a true Mumbaikar at heart, his love for Hindi cinema runs deep. He grew up watching the towering presence of Amitabh Bachchan dominate the silver screen, and later found equal admiration in the charisma and charm of Shah Rukh Khan. His passion for films isn't just about entertainment, it's a connection to the spirit of Mumbai, a city where dreams are woven into every reel.
