The Dubai Municipality Ramadan Souq in Deira officially opened on January 17, 2026, at the Old Municipality Street Square in the Grand Souq area, and will run daily until February 15, 2026. The market, which did not open on January 16, welcomes visitors with free entry and a vibrant mix of heritage shopping, traditional food, and cultural entertainment. Shoppers can explore a wide range of merchandise, including Ramadan essentials, local handicrafts, perfumes, and spices, all offered by traditional shop owners and Emirati artisans. A dedicated food zone serves authentic Emirati dishes alongside a variety of regional and international flavors, creating a rich culinary experience. The souq also features live performances such as Oud music, storytelling sessions, and cultural workshops, alongside special family-friendly activities and workshops for children. To enhance the experience, free abra rides operate daily from 10 AM to 10 PM between Bur Dubai and Deira, allowing visitors to enjoy scenic waterway views while connecting to the heart of the souq. Open from 10 AM to 10 PM daily, the Dubai Municipality Ramadan Souq offers a festive and immersive cultural experience for residents and tourists alike.
