Gulfood 2026 sets new global benchmark with historic dual-venue expansion in Dubai

Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest annual food and beverage sourcing event, is set to create history with its 31st edition by expanding across two major venues in Dubai for the first time. The landmark event will take place from January 26 to 30, 2026, reflecting the rapid evolution of the global food trade ecosystem.

This year, Gulfood will be hosted simultaneously at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in central Dubai and the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai. While DWTC will continue to accommodate Gulfood’s core and traditional industry sectors, DEC will focus on emerging verticals, including Grocery Trade and the newly launched Gulfood Logistics sector.

The exhibition will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Thursday (January 26–29) and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, January 30.

Gulfood 2026 is expected to be the largest edition in the event’s history, bringing together over 8,500 exhibitors from more than 195 countries. More than 1.5 million products will be showcased across 240,000 square meters of exhibition space, representing a 100 percent increase in floor space compared to previous editions.

A major highlight of Gulfood 2026 is India’s role as the official Country Partner, marking its strongest participation to date. With over 600 exhibitors, India’s presence underscores its growing influence in global food production, processing, and exports.

The 2026 edition also places a strong emphasis on innovation and future-ready food systems. Newly introduced platforms include the Gulfood World Economy Summit, designed to address food security, trade diplomacy, and global supply chain resilience. Initiatives such as Future Food 500 will explore digital disruption, artificial intelligence, and next-generation leadership, while the NXT Stage will spotlight advancements in agritech and retail technology.

Sector-wise, Gulfood 2026 will feature its largest-ever Beverages segment, spanning water, juices, specialty coffee, and dairy alternatives. Key categories such as Dairy, Meat & Poultry, Seafood, and Staples will continue to focus on sustainability, halal solutions, and high-demand global brands. The World Food sector will showcase a wide range of international cuisines and region-specific offerings.

Attendance is strictly limited to trade professionals aged 21 and above, with mandatory professional registration through the official Gulfood website. Registered visitors will have access to both DWTC and DEC venues.

With its unprecedented scale, dual-venue format, and future-focused programming, Gulfood 2026 is poised to redefine the global food and beverage sourcing landscape.
