Miley Cyrus to Feature on Avatar: Fire And Ash Soundtrack in ‘Dream Come True’ Moment
US singer Miley Cyrus has said it is “a dream come true” to feature on the soundtrack for Avatar: Fire And Ash, the third film in James Cameron’s blockbuster franchise. Her song, titled “Dream As One,” will be part of the movie’s official soundtrack when it is released in cinemas in December 2025.
In a post shared on social media on Wednesday, the 32-year-old singer wrote: “Honoured to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I’ve written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film’s themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true.”
Cyrus, who rose to fame as a child through Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, is known for her hits The Climb, Wrecking Ball, and her Grammy-winning single Flowers. Her new song connects deeply to her personal life in 2018, her Malibu home, which she shared at the time with actor Liam Hemsworth, was destroyed in a California wildfire. The couple married shortly afterward but later divorced.
“Dream As One,” written by Cyrus, Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Simon Franglen, will feature during the end credits of the film. The single is set for release on November 14, while the full Avatar: Fire And Ash soundtrack will come out on December 12.
The upcoming movie continues the story of Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, and Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana, as they lead their family through new challenges on Pandora. The original Avatar was released in 2009 and remains the highest-grossing film in history, while its sequel, Avatar: The Way Of Water, debuted in 2022 to global acclaim.
Avatar: Fire And Ash will arrive in cinemas worldwide on December 19, 2025, promising another epic chapter in Cameron’s visually stunning and emotionally rich sci-fi saga.
