83rd Golden Globe Awards 2026: full winners list, highlights and historic firsts

Acting honors in drama went to Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent) for Best Actor – Drama and Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) for Best Actress – Drama. In the musical or comedy film categories, Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor for Marty Supreme, while Rose Byrne claimed Best Actress for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. KPop Demon Hunters was named Best Animated Film.

Television Standouts

On the television side, The Pitt won Best Drama Series, while The Studio took Best Musical or Comedy Series. Adolescence was awarded Best Limited/Anthology Series or TV Movie, further cementing its strong presence at the ceremony.

Performance awards went to Noah Wyle (The Pitt) for Best Actor – Drama, Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) for Best Actress – Drama, Seth Rogen (The Studio) for Best Actor – Comedy, and Jean Smart (Hacks) for Best Actress – Comedy.

New Category and Special Honours

The Golden Globes introduced Best Podcast for the first time, with Good Hang with Amy Poehler becoming the inaugural winner. Helen Mirren was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Sarah Jessica Parker received the Carol Burnett Award for lifetime achievement in television.

Biggest Winners of the Night

Both One Battle After Another and Adolescence emerged as the most awarded titles of the night, earning four awards each across major categories.
