Aldar Education and Manchester City Launch First Elite Football School in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, October 21, 2025 –

In a groundbreaking move for youth sports in the UAE, Aldar Education has partnered with English Premier League champions Manchester City to launch the Aldar Education Football School  the first elite football programme of its kind in Abu Dhabi.

The initiative will nurture the emirate’s most promising young footballers through a structured, high-performance programme. Six competitive teams across the under-11, under-13, and under-15 age groups will be formed, with training led by UEFA-qualified Manchester City coaches who will be based full-time at Aldar Education schools.

The partnership offers students unprecedented access to professional-level training and Manchester City’s renowned “Beautiful Football” philosophy, which emphasizes technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and teamwork.

“The Aldar Education Football School is another example of Manchester City and Aldar Education coming together to enhance the communities of Abu Dhabi,” said Simon Hewitt, Manchester City’s Head of Football for the Middle East and North Africa.

Student-athletes will be selected annually through trials, with top performers recognized at the end of each season. The teams will compete in regional fixtures and international tours, offering exposure to elite-level competition and player development pathways.
