Bahrain Reaffirms Commitment to Excellence and Innovation Across All Sectors

Bahrain yesterday renewed its pledge to advance excellence, innovation, and digital readiness across national institutions, emphasising the importance of continuous development in enhancing government performance and supporting economic competitiveness. Interior Minister and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, highlighted the kingdom’s progress in digital transformation and the high levels of development achieved in recent years.

General Shaikh Rashid commended the wide-ranging digital accomplishments made across government bodies, noting that these efforts play a central role in supporting Bahrain’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad. He stressed that fostering a culture of excellence and innovation remains a national priority, contributing to improved services, enhanced quality of life, and increased institutional efficiency.

He added that Bahrain continues to invest in advanced technologies and smart solutions as part of its broader vision to build a resilient, future-ready digital ecosystem. These initiatives, he said, reflect the government’s commitment to maintaining momentum in public-sector modernisation and strengthening the kingdom’s global standing in innovation and e-governance.
