Bahrain EDB Showcases Investment Opportunities to Global Investors During Japan Visit
The Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) led a series of high-level business forums and meetings in Japan, presenting Bahrain’s strategic investment landscape to key global stakeholders. The initiative coincided with the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Japan. During the mission, Bahrain EDB highlighted investment opportunities across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, ICT, logistics, and tourism. The delegation engaged with Japanese government officials, major conglomerates, and investors, focusing on Bahrain's business-friendly regulatory environment, world-class infrastructure, and access to Gulf and international markets. The visit is part of Bahrain’s broader strategy to attract high-value foreign direct investment and foster bilateral partnerships in innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development. The meetings further reaffirmed Japan’s position as a key strategic partner in Bahrain’s economic diversification efforts.
