Bahrain’s Competitive, Future-Ready Economy Highlighted at FII9
Bahrain’s Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Noor Al Khulaif, represented the Kingdom at the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) held in Riyadh, joining a distinguished lineup of global leaders and policymakers.
During her participation, Minister Al Khulaif spoke on the high-profile panel discussion titled “Is FDI Pulling Away from the West?”, where she was joined by former US Secretary of State and Impact Investments Executive Chairman Mike Pompeo, banking expert Nadia Alsaeed, and Quinn Emanuel Executive Chairman John B. Quinn.
Minister Al Khulaif highlighted Bahrain’s competitive, diversified, and future-ready economy, emphasizing the nation’s strategic focus on sustainable growth, innovation, and investment-friendly policies. She underscored Bahrain’s success in fostering an agile regulatory environment, skilled workforce, and advanced digital infrastructure all key elements that continue to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and position the Kingdom as a leading investment hub in the region.
Her remarks at FII9 reflected Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to align with global sustainability and economic transformation trends, showcasing the Kingdom’s commitment to Vision 2030 and its ambition to be a model of forward-looking economic development in the Gulf and beyond.
