8-Day NYE 2026 in Dubai: Burj Khalifa Extravaganza to Be Led by Shah Rukh Khan
Dubai is set to redefine New Year’s Eve once again with an unprecedented eight-day celebration that will transform Downtown Dubai into a world-class entertainment arena. Emaar, the developer behind the Burj Khalifa, has announced that festivities will run from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, delivering a cinematic and immersive experience that goes far beyond the city’s iconic midnight fireworks.
The Burj Khalifa and its surrounding areas will become a vast open-air stage, blending art, technology and large-scale performances. Dubai’s NYE celebrations have long been among the most watched worldwide, drawing massive crowds; Downtown Dubai alone has previously seen attendance hit 1.7 million people, surpassing initial expectations and attracting over two billion viewers through livestreams. This year’s multi-day spectacle aims to set an even higher benchmark.
A major highlight will be Burj Park Goes Bollywood, a special ticketed event curated in collaboration with Frontstage, part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Visitors can expect high-energy performances, vibrant parades and a festive atmosphere infused with the spirit of Indian cinema all set against the world’s most recognizable skyline.
Tickets for Burj Park are priced at Dh950 for adults and Dh550 for children aged 5 to 12, while kids under five enter for free. With demand expected to surge, organizers advise booking early.
Beyond the park, Downtown Dubai will host a grand parade featuring elaborate floats, illuminated puppets and performers from across the region, celebrating the city’s creative spirit and multicultural identity. Each evening, the skyline will come alive with synchronized drone displays, dazzling light shows and artistic choreography designed to captivate both on-ground audiences and millions watching online.
Emaar’s Founder, Mohamed Alabbar, described the event as “a celebration on an unprecedented scale,” promising that each moment will reflect Dubai’s global energy and imaginative flair. The official event website is now live, and all tickets must be purchased in advance a crucial note for those planning to attend what is expected to be one of the most spectacular year-end celebrations on the planet.
