lmasar Alshamil Education plans nationwide special needs expansion and international university entry after Tadawul listing

Saudi Arabia listed Almasar Alshamil Education has announced ambitious plans to expand its special needs education network across the Kingdom and introduce international universities into Saudi Arabia, accelerating its regional growth strategy following its successful listing on Tadawul.

Majed Al Mutairi, chief executive officer of Almasar Alshamil Education, said the listing has significantly strengthened the company’s ability to scale operations and pursue long-term impact across both Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

“The beginning of a new year is a moment to reflect on responsibility and opportunity. Following our successful listing on the Saudi Exchange, we enter the year with a strong platform for growth and a clear mandate to deliver impact,” Al Mutairi said.
“As education continues to play a central role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2030, our focus remains on scaling inclusive, future-ready education that delivers real outcomes for learners and society.”

Saudi Arabia will remain Almasar’s primary growth market, with plans to open new special needs education and care centers and schools across multiple regions. The expansion builds on the company’s Human Development Company platform, which currently operates 39 daycare centers, 14 schools, and three clinics, serving around 8,000 beneficiaries nationwide.

According to the company, upcoming facilities will focus on specialized education, rehabilitation, and residential services, addressing growing demand for inclusive and structured care. Almasar also plans to enhance its digital systems, enabling standardized rehabilitation programs, outcome tracking, and more personalized care delivery.

In addition to special needs education, Almasar revealed plans to bring reputed international universities into Saudi Arabia as part of a broader push into higher education. While the company did not disclose specific partners, investment sizes, or timelines, the move aligns with national efforts to expand global academic presence within the Kingdom.

The strategy reinforces Almasar Alshamil Education’s role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s transformation agenda, positioning the company as a key player in inclusive education, human development, and higher education growth under Vision 2030.
