Oman Ranked 11th Best Country in the World for Expats in 2025 Expat Insider Report
The Sultanate of Oman has earned a prestigious spot in the global rankings, securing 11th place in the world’s best countries for expats to live and work, according to the InterNations 2025 Expat Insider Report.
The comprehensive survey polled 10,085 people across 46 countries, evaluating their experiences based on five key categories: quality of life, ease of settling in, working abroad, personal finance, and the expat essentials index. The latter measures important aspects such as digital life, housing, language, and administrative processes.
Oman’s strong performance in the survey highlights its growing reputation as a welcoming and comfortable destination for expatriates. The country has consistently attracted professionals and families alike, thanks to its balance of modern infrastructure, cultural heritage, safety, and high standard of living.
