Bahrain Defense force intercepts 188 missiles and 468 drones, issues public safety warning
The Bahrain Defence Force has announced that its air defense systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 188 missiles and 468 drones since the start of the ongoing hostile attacks targeting the Kingdom.
In an official statement, the BDF praised the high level of combat readiness and operational efficiency demonstrated by its personnel in safeguarding Bahrain’s airspace. The continued success in intercepting aerial threats reflects the strength and responsiveness of the Kingdom’s defense capabilities amid sustained attacks.
Alongside the operational update, the BDF issued an urgent public safety advisory, urging residents to stay away from affected or targeted locations. Authorities warned that such areas may pose risks due to unexploded debris or ongoing security operations.
The public has also been strongly advised not to photograph or share images of military activities, defense systems, or fallen debris. Officials stressed that sharing such content could compromise security efforts and hinder ongoing operations.
The BDF reiterated its commitment to protecting the Kingdom and its residents, emphasizing that defense forces remain on high alert to counter any further threats.
Residents are encouraged to follow official updates and strictly adhere to safety instructions issued by authorities, ensuring their own safety while supporting national security efforts.
