Bahrain Participates in GCC ‘Arabian Gulf Security 4’ Drill in Qatar
Bahrain Police forces have arrived in Qatar to participate in the joint security field exercise “Arabian Gulf Security 4”, involving security agencies from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The exercise, running from January 25 to February 4, 2026, is part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination among GCC security agencies and support the region’s shared security framework.
The drill aims to enhance joint coordination, develop field operational capabilities, and raise emergency response standards across participating nations, ensuring the safety and stability of Gulf societies. Bahrain’s involvement reflects directives from GCC interior ministers to unify methods for addressing security challenges, exchange expertise, and boost readiness against potential threats.
Bahrain has a long-standing role in regional security cooperation, having hosted the first Arabian Gulf Security exercise in October 2016, demonstrating its leadership in supporting GCC joint security initiatives and fostering integration among member states.
By participating in “Arabian Gulf Security 4,” Bahrain continues to strengthen its contributions to Gulf security while collaborating with neighboring countries to maintain a stable and secure environment for citizens and residents alike.
