Bahrain is set to experience a spell of unsettled winter weather as a cold wave moves across the region, bringing cooler temperatures, cloud cover, and chances of rainfall over the weekend, according to forecasts issued by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT).

Residents can expect a noticeable drop in temperatures, accompanied by northwesterly winds that will make conditions feel significantly colder than recorded readings.

Saturday is expected to be mostly cloudy throughout the day, with scattered rain likely to develop after midnight. Daytime temperatures are forecast to range between 19°C and 22°C, while nighttime temperatures may fall to between 12°C and 16°C.
