The spirit of patriotism soared high in Lucknow as the rousing anthem “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” from Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ much-awaited war drama 120 Bahadur was launched in a grand public event. The gathering witnessed massive crowds, with thousands of fans, real-life heroes, and families of martyrs coming together to honor the bravery of India’s soldiers. The anthem’s unveiling turned into a powerful tribute, with the crowd echoing the emotions of courage, sacrifice, and national pride.

The event was attended by Farhan Akhtar, Sukhwinder Singh, Narpat Singh Bhati, son of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, along with the two surviving heroes of the Battle of Rezang La Subedar Honorary Captain Ram Chander Yadav Ji and Havildar Nihal Singh Ji, SM. The actors portraying the soldiers of Charlie Company also joined the momentous celebration, standing shoulder to shoulder with the families of martyrs whose sacrifices continue to inspire generations. The atmosphere was electric as the anthem echoed through the venue, uniting everyone in a shared sense of pride and reverence.

“Dada Kishan Ki Jai”, composed and produced by Salim–Sulaiman, with soul-stirring lyrics by Javed Akhtar and vocals by Sukhwinder Singh, captures the very essence of valor and patriotism. The song is a stirring tribute to India’s soldiers, embodying the spirit of resilience that defines the nation’s armed forces. With its powerful rhythm and heartfelt words, the anthem serves as the emotional heartbeat of 120 Bahadur, leaving listeners both inspired and moved.

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, 120 Bahadur is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios). The film recounts the extraordinary true story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, and his 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought against overwhelming odds during the Battle of Rezang La in the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Outnumbered and outgunned, they stood their ground with unbreakable courage, defending their post against over 3,000 enemy troops. At its core, the film is built on one defining line “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge” symbolizing the unyielding spirit of India’s bravest warriors.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Farhan Akhtar, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Eijaz Khan, and Raashii Khanna, the film promises to deliver an emotional, action-packed tribute to the heroes of Rezang La. With Salim–Sulaiman’s stirring score, Javed Akhtar’s evocative lyrics, and Sukhwinder Singh’s powerful voice, “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” stands tall as a patriotic anthem that will resonate in the hearts of audiences across the nation.

120 Bahadur is set to release in cinemas on 21st November 2025, and the promotional campaign began with the Lucknow launch event, marking the start of what promises to be one of the most impactful patriotic films of the year.The makers have also released a series of videos on YouTube, including the first and second teaser trailers, the official song video for “Dada Kishan Ki Jai,” and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the making of this grand cinematic tribute.
