Salman Khan to Begin Final Schedule of ‘Battle of Galwan’ in Mumbai This October

After Wrapping Ladakh Shoot, Salman Gears Up for Final Phase of War Drama
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to begin the second and final shooting schedule of his highly anticipated war drama Battle of Galwan this month in Mumbai. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is based on the real-life 2020 military clash between India and China in the Galwan Valley, which marked one of the most significant and tense moments in recent Indo-China relations.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, the Mumbai schedule will commence on October 10, 2025, and is expected to wrap up by November. This follows an intense 45-day first schedule shot on location in Leh, Ladakh, where Salman and the team braved the elements to capture the realism and scale the film demands.
Following the completion of the Ladakh shoot, Salman was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport in a clean-shaven look, signaling a visual transition for his character as filming moves into its final leg. A source close to the production shared:
“After wrapping up the first schedule of the film, Salman along with his battalion of actors will resume the second schedule of the film in Mumbai from October 10, 2025, onwards and is expected to end by November.”
Battle of Galwan is expected to blend action, emotion, and patriotism, telling a story of valor inspired by true events. With Salman Khan leading the cast, the film is already generating significant buzz among audiences and industry insiders alike.
