Ice Warrior Challenge 2025: 560 Athletes Brave Ski Dubai’s Frozen Obstacle Course

The 16th edition of the Ice Warrior Challenge at Ski Dubai brought together 560 athletes representing 69 nationalities, including 194 Emiratis, for an exhilarating test of endurance and grit. Organised in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, this iconic event has become a highlight of Dubai’s sporting calendar since its launch in 2010, offering participants the ultimate frozen obstacle course experience. 

Contestants aged 15 to 60 faced 28 demanding icy obstacles, challenging their speed, strength, and stamina in sub-zero conditions. The competition attracted a mix of elite international athletes and passionate first-timers, united by their adventurous spirit. In the Elite Category, Norway’s Hallvard Borsheim secured first place in the men’s division with a time of 31:02, followed closely by Alisher Nazarov and Rich Zielinski. Among the women, Michala Radomska topped the podium in 56:04, with Forough Shakiba taking second place.

The Individual Category showcased remarkable performances, with Teo Zampa finishing first overall among men in 18:35, while Hilda Allin led the women with a time of 27:44. The runners-up included Yeison Londono Franco, Natalie Mysheva, Shiva Shahi, and Nada Omar. The Ice Warrior Challenge continues to grow in popularity, offering a unique and thrilling platform for athletes and adventurers to push their limits in an extraordinary icy environment.
