Mardaani 3 crosses first film’s lifetime collection, holds steady on second Monday
Mardaani 3, featuring Rani Mukerji reprising her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy, continues its steady run at the Indian box office, showing resilience well into its second week. After registering healthy growth during its second weekend, attention shifted to the film’s performance on the crucial second Monday, day 11. The action thriller passed the weekday test, recording only a moderate drop and maintaining a decent pace overall.
On its second Monday, Mardaani 3 collected ₹1.3 crore, reflecting a drop of around 39.5 percent compared to its second Friday (day 8), when it earned ₹2.15 crore. Despite the expected decline, the hold is being viewed as positive for a film in its second week. With this, the film’s total net collection stands at ₹38.4 crore in India, translating to approximately ₹45.31 crore gross. Notably, Mardaani 3 has now surpassed the lifetime box office collection of the first Mardaani film.
Given its consistent performance and steady weekday numbers, the ₹50 crore milestone now appears well within reach if the film maintains its momentum over the coming days.
