MOI Advises iOS Users to Update Devices to Receive Emergency Alerts
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has urged citizens and residents using smart devices operating on the iOS system to update their phones to at least version 26.2 to ensure the timely and complete receipt of emergency alerts.
The ministry explained that the update is essential to guarantee that all emergency notifications are delivered properly in the event of any incident. These alerts play a critical role in keeping the public informed and safe during emergency situations.
According to the MOI, no action is required from users of Android or Huawei devices, as their operating systems are already fully compatible with the emergency alert system.
Reaffirming its commitment to public safety, the Ministry of Interior encouraged all users to keep their devices updated to ensure uninterrupted access to important alerts and instructions during emergencies. The ministry emphasized that staying technologically up to date is a key part of preparedness and community safety.
