Rotax MAX Grand Finals 2025 Returns to Bahrain International Circuit for Action-Packed Week

BAHRAIN: One of the world’s premier karting events, the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) 2025, is set to return to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) this weekend, promising a full week of high-octane, grassroots motorsport action. The event will bring together 400 top karters from 60 nations, competing across eight thrilling categories in a showcase of skill, speed, and precision.

Pre-event formalities will take place from Friday to Sunday, with on-track racing running from Monday through December 6 at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC). Entry is free for spectators on a first-come, first-served basis, offering fans an up-close experience of competitive karting from daylight into nighttime racing under BIKC’s world-class floodlights.

Competitors will battle it out in six traditional categories Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2, and DD2 Masters as well as two electric classes, E20 Senior and E20 Masters. This marks the third time in five years that Bahrain hosts the prestigious RMCGF, following successful events in 2021 and 2023.

Racing will take place on BIKC’s 1.414-kilometre CIK-FIA-approved track, a venue that has previously hosted world championship events featuring Formula One stars such as Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and George Russell. Participants earned their spots at the Grand Finals after claiming national Rotax MAX championships in their respective countries, guaranteeing a field of the sport’s elite young talents.

Team Bahrain will field several drivers eager to make a mark on their home track. BIKC, designed to meet the highest international standards, is capable of hosting world championship events under CIK-FIA regulations. The circuit made history in 2012 as the first karting venue to host a night-time world championship event, thanks to its cutting-edge floodlighting system, a feature that will add to the spectacle for this year’s competition.

With a combination of international talent, high-speed wheel-to-wheel battles, and Bahrain’s renowned racing infrastructure, the 2025 Rotax MAX Grand Finals promises to deliver unforgettable moments for motorsport fans of all ages.
