Global Village to Host Spectacular Drone Show for UAE Flag Day

Dubai’s Global Village is set to light up the sky this UAE Flag Day, hosting a spectacular drone show on November 3 at 8:30 PM. Hundreds of drones will form dazzling patterns, including the iconic UAE flag, in a mesmerizing display of patriotism and innovation. The event promises stunning visual spectacles, honouring the nation and its people. 

UAE Flag Day, first celebrated in 2013, marks the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE in 2004. The initiative was started by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to inspire unity and national pride.

Though not a public holiday, Flag Day is a moment when residents and citizens come together across offices, schools, parks, and public spaces to hoist the flag and celebrate the nation’s achievements. This year marks the 13th edition of the celebration, and the drone show at Global Village promises to make it a night to remember for families and visitors alike.
