Anshula Kapoor Gets Engaged to Rohan Thakkar in Intimate Dussehra Celebration

Anshula Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, is officially engaged to her longtime partner Rohan Thakkar. The couple hosted a beautiful and intimate engagement ceremony on October 2, 2025, coinciding with the festival of Dussehra.

The celebration took place at the Kapoor family residence in Bandra, Mumbai, where close friends and relatives gathered to bless the couple. Anshula had earlier announced her engagement in July after Rohan proposed to her in New York’s Central Park, in front of the iconic Belvedere Castle. She shared on social media that the proposal was heartfelt and symbolic, happening at 1:15 am India time the exact hour they had first spoken three years earlier.

The October engagement was also marked by a traditional Gujarati ritual known as "Gor Dhana." Arjun Kapoor was seen getting emotional during the ceremony, holding his sister’s hand in a heartwarming moment. Cousins Shanaya Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor were present, along with Rhea Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, who made headlines with her elegant look.

Family members shared how Anshula’s late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, was deeply remembered on the occasion. Boney Kapoor expressed his happiness, stating that Anshula carries her mother’s strength and grace.
