Bahrain Showcases Digital Innovation at GITEX Global 2025

Bahrain has made a strong impression at GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology expos, held in Dubai, UAE, from October 13 to 17. Under the “Kingdom of Bahrain” pavilion, the nation’s participation is being spearheaded by the Labor Fund (Tamkeen) in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), Economic Development Board (EDB), ARRAY for Innovations, and 14 Bahraini startups and SMEs from across the ICT and telecommunications sectors.
Located at Hall 20-A10, the pavilion highlights Bahrain’s growing influence in digital transformation and public sector innovation. The iGA is showcasing its latest eGovernment initiatives for 2025, focused on leveraging cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. These efforts reflect Bahrain’s commitment to modernizing public services, enhancing government efficiency, and supporting a thriving digital economy that aligns with global trends.
The iGA emphasized that GITEX provides an ideal environment for global collaboration, where tech leaders, startups, and government bodies can exchange knowledge, explore new partnerships, and stay ahead of innovation curves. Bahrain’s presence at GITEX also reinforces its strategic goal of becoming a regional ICT leader, not just in service delivery but in public-private collaboration and smart governance.
