Bahrain to Compete in 2025 Paralympic Beach Games in Türkiye

The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to make history as it participates in the inaugural Paralympic Beach Games for People with Disabilities, scheduled to take place in Mersin, Türkiye, from October 18 to 25, 2025. This landmark event will see Bahrain’s national athletes competing in an international beach games setting for the first time under the Bahrain Paralympic Committee’s supervision.
Bahrain will field competitors in three key sports disciplines: powerlifting, badminton, and sailing. These selections highlight the country’s growing investment in developing and empowering athletes with disabilities.
In powerlifting, the Kingdom will be represented by Amal Al Fardan, Hussain Suwar, and Fay, all of whom have demonstrated strong promise in regional competitions. Zainab Ali and Ahmed Abu Satar will take on international challengers in badminton, while Abdullah Al Balushi and Musa Al Sayegh will carry the national flag in sailing.
