UAE Launches ‘Voices of Unity’ Anthem Sing-Along on December 2

The UAE has announced a new national tradition called ‘Voices of Unity’, inviting all residents to participate in a nationwide anthem sing-along on December 2 at 11am. The initiative coincides with Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day) and aims to unite people across all seven emirates in a shared moment of pride and belonging.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, shared the call on his official X account:
"On December 2nd, at 11 AM… We sing the national anthem united."
The campaign encourages residents to step outside their homes, workplaces, schools, and shops to join a collective voice celebrating the UAE’s spirit of togetherness. To make participation accessible to everyone, the anthem has been transliterated phonetically in Arabic and English, the two most widely spoken languages in the country.
The initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to its diverse communities and emphasizes the idea that standing together strengthens the nation while shaping a future built on pride, unity, and shared possibilities.
