Dubai Fountain Officially Reopens on October 1 with Stunning New Show Timings

Dubai Fountain, one of Dubai’s most iconic and beloved attractions, is set to reopen on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, after a five-month closure for major upgrades.

Emaar, the property developer behind the fountain, confirmed the reopening date on Saturday, September 27, bringing excitement to residents and visitors alike. The fountain has been closed for the majority of the year to undergo phase one of a comprehensive redevelopment project aimed at enhancing safety, reliability, and the overall visitor experience.

During phase one, Burj Khalifa Lake was fully drained to allow for crucial work including tiling, water insulation, and painting. This effort ensures the fountain maintains its signature beauty while being better prepared for years to come.

Phase two of the redevelopment is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2026 and promises to introduce innovative new features, combining creativity and technology to deliver even more spectacular shows.

Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, shared his enthusiasm: “The return of Dubai Fountain is a celebration of Dubai itself its spirit, its energy, and its ability to inspire the world. This landmark has always brought people together, creating shared moments of wonder and joy.”

Upon reopening, the Dubai Fountain will resume its regular show timings. There will be two afternoon performances daily at 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM, except on Fridays when shows start at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM. Evening shows will run from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM every 30 minutes. The very first show of the grand reopening will be held at 6:30 PM on October 1.

Visitors can look forward to enjoying the stunning water choreography, accompanied by captivating music and lights, at one of the world’s most famous fountains.
