Interior Ministry Shooting Team Shines at Arab Championship in Oman -
The Interior Ministry shooting team delivered an outstanding performance at the Arab Championship for Air Rifle and Air Pistol, held in the Sultanate of Oman, securing leading positions against strong regional competition.
The championship featured 141 male and female shooters from across the Arab world, highlighting the high level of competitiveness at the event.
Impressive Medal Haul-
The Interior Ministry team claimed a total of 16 medals, comprising:

The results reflect the team’s technical excellence, discipline, and consistent preparation, reinforcing Bahrain’s strong presence in regional shooting competitions.
Leadership Praises Team Performance-
Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, Chairman of the Police Sports Federation, expressed pride in the team’s achievements. He noted that the strong results are a direct outcome of the continuous support provided by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.
He emphasised that this support plays a vital role in raising athletes’ standards and enabling them to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain at regional and international sporting events in the best possible manner.
Continued Support for Police Sports-
Brigadier Al Khayat also highlighted the close and ongoing follow-up of Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, who regularly monitors the participation and performance of police sports teams across various competitions.
This leadership commitment, he said, has been instrumental in motivating athletes, strengthening performance levels, and achieving consistent sporting success.
