Chamber Panel Sets March 28 Date for BCCI Board Election
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has officially scheduled the election of its 31st Board of Directors for March 28, 2026.
The date was confirmed during the first meeting of the chamber’s elections committee, which was held at Bait Al Tijjar. The committee noted that the polling venue will be announced at a later stage through official channels.
Committee members reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the highest standards of neutrality, fairness, and transparency throughout the electoral process, ensuring confidence among candidates and voters alike.
The upcoming elections will mark the conclusion of the term of the 30th Board of Directors, which was elected in March 2022 for a four-year mandate ending in 2026.
In a related development, the Shura Council was scheduled in early January 2026 to vote on a new BCCI election voting scale aimed at regulating the forthcoming polls and enhancing governance within the chamber.
Stakeholders and chamber members are advised to follow official announcements on the Bahrain Chamber website for updates, including details on the polling venue and election procedures.
