Abu Dhabi Motors, a leading name in the luxury automotive sector in the UAE, is celebrating its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
The company was founded in 1985 in Umm Al Nar with only 24 employees and a modest showroom and workshop. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most successful BMW Group importers in the Middle East, now operating 12 state-of-the-art facilities across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and employing more than 750 staff members.
Representing some of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands such as BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, Rolls-Royce, and McLaren, Abu Dhabi Motors has consistently set benchmarks for luxury car retail in the region. A landmark achievement came in 2012 with the opening of the world’s largest BMW Group retail facility in Umm Al Nar, an architectural and commercial milestone in the automotive sector.
To commemorate its 40 years of excellence, Abu Dhabi Motors launched a year-long celebration titled “Summer of Now,” offering customers unique showroom experiences at locations such as Umm Al Nar, Al Ain, and Khalidiya. These include festive décor, creative activities, and enhanced hospitality to ensure every visit feels like more than just a purchase experience.
The company’s success is underscored by numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding sales, after-sales service, and customer support, reflecting its continuous investment in infrastructure, staff training, and modern technology. Looking ahead, Abu Dhabi Motors is preparing to open a new BMW Retail Next concept showroom in Umm Al Nar in 2026, aimed at creating a more immersive and futuristic retail environment.
