Chinese Food Delivery Giant Keeta Launches in Kuwait With 50% Discounts

Keeta, the global arm of China’s delivery giant Meituan, has officially launched its services in Kuwait, marking another milestone in its regional expansion following entries into Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The company made its debut on Monday, offering new customers in Kuwait an attractive welcome promotion 50 percent off their first order along with free delivery. Keeta aims to win over Kuwait’s fast-paced, convenience-driven market with a promise of punctual service and a wide variety of dining options.

Leveraging Meituan’s massive infrastructure which handles over 150 million orders per day for more than 770 million users globally Keeta claims to blend cutting-edge technology with local culinary insight. The platform in Kuwait features a mix of traditional Kuwaiti restaurants and well-known regional and international brands, including Naif Chicken, Over Jar, Dipndip, and Shrimpie. According to Max Chiu, Keeta’s general manager in Kuwait, the launch is about more than just delivery. “Kuwait blends heritage with innovation,” he said. “Our focus is on what matters most to customers: reliable and convenient service. This launch is the start of a long-term partnership with customers, restaurants, and couriers alike.”

Keeta’s strategy in Kuwait includes strong support for small and medium-sized restaurants through simplified onboarding processes, digital tools, and a no-marketing-fee model. The company is also investing in its delivery workforce by offering financial guarantees, performance incentives, and professional training. Local logistics partners are being integrated to ensure timely and efficient service across the country.

The company has expressed its commitment to aligning with Kuwait’s Vision 2035, positioning itself as a long-term contributor to the nation’s digital and service economy. Keeta says it aims to set “a new standard” for food delivery in the region one built on reliability, diversity, and what it describes as “delivery done right.”
