The Public Works Authority Ashghal has announced the temporary closure of the Messaimeer Interchange Tunnel for vehicles traveling from Mesaieed Road towards E-Ring Road.
The closure will take place on Friday, April 3, from 2:00am to 10:00am, and on Saturday, April 4, from 2:00am to 7:00am, to allow for essential maintenance works aimed at ensuring road safety and infrastructure efficiency.
According to Ashghal, the closure has been coordinated with the General Directorate of Traffic, Qatar, to minimize disruption and maintain smooth traffic flow during the maintenance period.
Motorists traveling from Mesaieed Road towards E-Ring Road are advised to follow designated alternative routes and adhere to traffic signage in place around the affected area. Authorities have urged road users to plan their journeys in advance and exercise caution while driving.
The temporary closure is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance Qatar’s road network, ensuring long-term safety and reliability for all users.
