Sharjah to roll out new vehicle number plates from February 16

Motorists in Sharjah will soon need to swap their old vehicle number plates for a newly designed version, as authorities begin an official replacement drive starting February 16.

Sharjah Police, represented by the Vehicle Licensing Department, announced that the old plates will be replaced with a new design as part of ongoing service development and modernization efforts.

Replacement locations

The plate replacement process will be carried out at the following centers across the emirate:

  • Tasjeel Village – Sharjah

  • Sharjah Classic Cars Club

  • Tasjeel Village – Khorfakkan

Vehicle owners have been urged to visit one of these designated locations to complete the replacement process.
